To go over my notes I am writing this down.

When I arrived at the press I found that our magnet controller was in an alarm state. The e-stop circuit dry contact across wire 70-71 was open in our controller. This opens in any alarm condition.

The dry contact across 70A and 71A for machine enable was also open.
